Sankalpam doubts

I live in California. My family members generally say “jambudwipa, bharata varshe, bharata kande” to do sankalpam. Some say that we should say hiranya varsha, hiranya kande and some even say that we are not in Jambudwipa so we should say kraunchadwipa. What should we say? I am confused.

What i was told is to use ” Vishnu Kande”. If you are living outside Bharath.

Yes, we are not supposed to. However, if this is the case you have to do it rather not doing it.
