I believe false charges are foisted on men too; it is not gender biased. Rather, ‘the weaker are harassed by the stronger’ irrespective of the gender or other factors.

Sometime ago there was a news of a man committing suicide with a note saying “I hope my suicide will raise an awareness in the society about women torturing the husbands with the threat of foisting ‘dowry harassment case’ “.

In this material world sometimes we are the ‘stronger’ and sometimes we are the ‘weaker’; in other words, sometimes we are the exploiters and sometimes we are the exploited, as determined by our karma. Difficult to escape karma! 

What can we do about it?

Surrender to Perumal and live a life of constant surrender; then the effect of prarabhda karma is diluted or atleast we get the strength to deal with it, with confidence that we will end the cycle of birth in this life itself.

Live a life of constant surrender such that the happiness and and peace we experience tempts others to follow this process and experience the happiness and peace; this will make our Perumal happy!

I don’t know if there is anything else we can do that will be effective in the long run.

Well said. We tend to do wrong when getting harassed because we long for power and connections to retaliate or face.

We usually don’t say “Shanku chakra gadha paney”
