This doubt came when I recite mantra through inner voice. Hence I want to understand more about inner voice swamy, I can hear or read the mantras what I recite via inner voice (without sound). How the recite happens? What’s the inner voice ? Which component perform the inner voice atmva or mind or Brain ah?. How to understand this better.

Reciting mantry by mind is utthamam (v difficult)
Murmuring is madhyamam (intermidiate)
Telling it out loud Adhamam (lower)

Swamy the inner voice you hear is probably from sub conscious mind or ஆழ்மனம் ..
For any action all five factors soul, supersoul, body, senses and endeavor are required.
Swamy as long as you are reciting mantras via inner voice it is good swamy, why worry about the mechanism?

How inner voice sub-concious responsible for mantra?
If that’s the case why Hiranyakashipu after Brahma’s prathyaksham was not overruled by sub-concious but asked for material gains?

Does deaf have inner voice?
Adiyen think inner voice what we call is a memory of sound of what we/was produced.
A born deaf will not have such memory of hearing own voice. Or other’s In that case how we explain inner voice?

Some of the spiritually advanced people do get inner voice. That comes from super conscious level. That voice can guide them. One has to be careful with this, since all can not judge an inner voice properly and can get misled.
What is discussed here about mantra, comes from sub conscious, which is stored, due to many times of mananam of mantra.
Here adiyen want to quote Swamy Nithyananda. He said “When it comes to conflict between inner voice and logical thinking, allow inner voice to flow and don’t judge it”
