Swamy,
Namaskaram.
Brahma sutra is the explanation of vedantam and is a pinnacle text provided by Sage Veda Vyasar. Whether Sage Veda Vyasar, anywhere in his Brahma sutra, declares Narayanan as Supreme?. If not so, why he did not spell it out and make it unambiguous in this work, being the explanation of vedantam.
Ref : Brahma sutra – LINGABHOOYASTHVADHI KARANAM 3-3-19
lingabhoo yasthvAththaddhi baleeyasthadhapi- 3-3-43
Swamy Ramanujar declares Narayanan as Supreme through this sutra.
Whereas, Sankaracharya does not appear to touch upon Narayanan at all in his commentary for this sutra.
Swamy, why and what leads to the difference in the commentary for the same sutra (a single language) between two great scholars?.
Quite perplexing and unable to understand.
