Swamy,

Namaskaram.

Srimad Bhagavatham elaborates on karma yoga, gnana yoga and bhakthi yoga as means of attaining motcham. Whether Srimad Bhagavatham explains about saranagati margam also as means of attaining motcham?.

Request to clarify.

Swamy,

Namaskaram.

Thank you very much for providing an enpani audio #2858 titled “வியாஸர் சரணாகதியை உபதேசித்தாரா?”. It has provided more details.

I had this doubt based on the sloka 11.20.6, which states (as told by Supreme Lord) that there are no other means other than karma yoga, gnana yoga and bhakthi yoga as means of attaining motcham.

Srimad Bhagavatham : Canto 11, Chapter 20, Sloka 6 :

śrī-bhagavān uvāca
yogās trayo mayā proktā
nṝṇāṁ śreyo-vidhitsayā
jñānaṁ karma ca bhaktiś ca
nopāyo ’nyo ’sti kutracit

Meaning : The Supreme Lord said: ‘The three ways of yoga I described in My desire to grant human beings the perfection, are the path of philosophy [jñâna], the path of work [karma] and the path of devotion [bhakti];there are no other means [of elevation] whatsoever.

In Gita Sri Krishna says “bhaktya tu ananyaya shakha:” no means other than bhakti. But He concludes – “tameva sharanam gaccha and maam ekam sharanam Vraja” . So, two paths for different adhikaris.
