What Adiyen understood from decades of listening spiritual discourse is:

“Conviction matters”

Conviction in what is being said, people will follow.

Eg: My God is great. Only this God can do this.

“Moksham can be given only by Mukundan no other devata can give”.

Then people who listen will have strong belief because they are attracted to such personality (God).

When the upanyasaka or the story teller slips “This is also fine that is also fine” that’s where the decline begins.

*Ippadiyum irukkalam appadiyum irukkalam”

“Idhuvum okay adhivum okay”

“This devata is also fine that devata is also fine”

What this does is, dilutes the bhakthi bhavam in listeners and brings down the confidence in the God and the spiritual preacher himself.
