We used to say a child resembles like his / her, parents, grand parents or any ancestor in physical outlook, activities such as speaking, specific interest etc., doing Bhakthi, going to temple, reading holy books, being generous in making donations, helping others, disciplined, having patience etc.

Besides, getting angry, rude, etc which are exactly opposite to whatever said above.

Also, there are two or three generations doing family business or engaged in the same line of activities. Your family itself is a classic example your father, yourself and your son in the same line of rendering upanyasams and enaged in activities of upholding Sanatana Dharma. It is very astonishing to see the similarities.

We used to say, this is because of genetical influence. While, it is like this, two or more different atmas connected in a current birth, do they carry same kind of good / bad deeds ? It is Bhagawan’s wish that any particular soul is to be born to particular parents, place and posses qualities depending on the sanchita karma that soul carries.

Our humble pranams are placed at your lotus feet. Indeed we are blessed to live in your period and hear your good words, ‘sat vishayam’.
