Sri Ramanuja Munaye Namaha,
Sri Velukkudi Krishnan Swami Guruve Namaha,
Honestly BhagavAta, aidyen have not yet heard in Swami’s Upanyasam about the Trikuta story.
There are also cases where Original Ithihaasa may not have some incidents but the Sthala Puranam may have those incidents, which could have been ADDED LATER due to some devotee’s personal interests very long ago either by Ruling Kings or someone in past yugas.
[One such Example is The Supreme ParamAthma SriRama Praying the Demi-God JeevAthma Shiva in Rameswaram is see in Sthala Puranam, but NOT mentioned in Valmiki Ramayanam, which Swami has answered to one of BhagaVAtas question in this forum in earlier threads.]
Swami has said in the past, that we should focus on stories that will gives us Mukthi (Moksham SriVaikuntam) in Same Birth by Catching hold of Sita-Rama Lotus Feet through Acharya Krupai and BhagavAta Abhimaanam, like in Vibhishana Sharanagathy. Vibhishana was an Asura but got Sita Piratti’s PurushaKaarathavm (Recommendation) in Lanka first, then Hanuman (Acharya) said good conducts about Vibhishana to SriRama which Hanuman Swami has observed during His visit to Lanka in Sundara Kaandam. Other Mokshadha Stories are Jatayu Moksham, delivered by SriRama and further Sabari Moksham given by her Acharyan and Sri Rama was only Saakshi Bhoothan (only witnessed) etc….
Such Mokshadha Stories are being told by our PoorvAcharyas based on Original Valmiki Ramayanam (PRAMAANAM).
Adiyen would recommend BhagavAta to listen to Sri Velukkudi Krishnan Swami’s “Srimadh Ramayanam” Upanyasam for the necessary stories from the below Velukkudi Discourses website.

Adiyen also noticed, Swami’s same Upanyasam is available in the “Tamil Pravachan TV” Youtube channel as well (total 7 parts in the below playlist).
