With Acharya ThiruvAdi Bhalam & Velukkudi Sri Krishnan Swami Aasirvaadham, In “PeriyaAlwar Thirumozhi 5-2 “neykkudaththai / நெய்க்குடத்தை”, there are 10 Tamil Paasuram where PeriyaAlwar “Telling the diseases to leave him, as the Supreme BhagavAn Sriman NarayanA has ENTERED his body”, since the diseases are a set-up by Yama dharma rajan and Kali devata’s joint venture as mentioned in the Garuda Puranam. Their joint venture was squashed/ demolished by PeriyaAlwar by making Perumal Reside HAPPILY inside Alwar’s Chittam. That’s why PeriyaAlwar is called as “Vishnu Chittar”, means Perumal sits in PeriyaAlwar’s Chittam.

சித்திரகுத்த னெழுத்தால் தென்புலக் கோன்பொறி யொற்றி*

வைத்த இலச்சினை மாற்றித்  தூதுவர்  ஓடி யொளித்தார்*

முத்துத் திரைக்கடற் சேர்ப்பன் மூதறிவாளர் முதல்வன்*

பத்தர்க்க முதன்அடியேன் பண்டன்று பட்டினம் காப்பே.                 2

வயிற்றில் தொழுவைப் பிரித்து  வன்புலச் சேவை யதக்கி*

கயிற்றும் அக்காணி கழித்துக் காலிடைப் பாசம் கழற்றி*

எயிற்றிடை மண்கொண்ட எந்தை இராப்பகல் ஓதுவித்து* என்னைப்

பயிற்றிப் பணிசெய்யக் கொண்டான் பண்டன்று பட்டினம் காப்பே.       3

மங்கிய வல்வினை நோய்காள்!உமக்கும் ஓர்வல்வினை கண்டீர்*

இங்குப் புகேன்மின்பு கேன்மின் எளிதன்று கண்டீர் புகேன்மின்*

சிங்கப் பிரானவன் எம்மான் சேரும் திருக்கோயில் கண்டீர்*

பங்கப் படாது உய்யப் போமின் பண்டன்று பட்டினம் காப்பே.           4

மாணிக் குறளுரு வாய மாயனை என்மனத் துள்ளே*

பேணிக்கொணர்ந்து புகுத வைத்துக் கொண்டேன் பிறிதின்றி*

மாணிக்கப் பண்டாரம் கண்டீர் வலிவன் குறும்பர்க ளுள்ளீர்!*

பாணிக்க வேண்டா நடமின் பண்டன்று பட்டினம் காப்பே.               5

உற்ற வுறுபிணி நோய்காள்!உமக்குஒன்றுசொல்லுகேன் கேண்மின்*

பெற்றங்கள் மேய்க்கும் பிரானார் பேணும் திருக்கோயில் கண்டீர்*

அற்ற முரைக்கின்றேன் இன்னம் ஆழ்வினைகாள்! உமக்கு இங்குஓர்

பற்றில்லை கண்டீர் நடமின்* பண்டன்று பட்டினம் காப்பே.             6

கொங்கைச் சிறுவரை யென்னும் பொதும்பினில் வீழ்ந்து வழுக்கி*

அங்கோர் முழையினில் புக்கிட்டு அழுந்திக் கிடந்துழல் வேனை*

வங்கக்கடல் வண்ணன் அம்மான் வல்வினை யாயின மாற்றி*

பங்கப்படா வண்ணம் செய்தான் பண்டன்று பட்டினம் காப்பே.           7

ஏதங்க ளாயின வெல்லாம் இறங்க லிடுவித்து* என்னுள்ளே

பீதக வாடைப் பிரானார் பிரம குருவாகி வந்து*

போதில் கமலவன் னெஞ்சம் புகுந்தும் என்சென்னித் திடரில்*

பாத விலச்சினை வைத்தார்  பண்டன்று பட்டினம் காப்பே.             8

உறக லுறக லுறகல் ஒண்சுட ராழியே!சங்கே!*

அறவெறி நாந்தக வாளே!அழகிய சார்ங்கமே! தண்டே!*

இறவு படாம லிருந்த எண்மர் உலோக பாலீர்காள்!*

பறவையரையா! உறகல் பள்ளி யறைக் குறிக்கோண்மின்.             9

அரவத் தமளியி னோடும் அழகிய பாற்கட லோடும்*

அரவிந்தப் பாவையும் தானும் அகம்படி வந்து புகுந்து*

பரவைத் திரைபல மோதப் பள்ளி கொள்கின்ற பிரானை*

பரவு கின்றான் விட்டுசித்தன் பட்டினம் காவற் பொருட்டே.             10

Paasuram 1:

நெய்க்குடத்தில் ஏறும் எறும்புகள் போல் என்னைக் கைப்பற்றிக் கொண்ட நோய்களே பிழைத்து ஓடிச் செல்லுங்கள். என் உடலில் நாராயணன் தம் பாம்பணையோடு குடிவந்து விட்டான். முன்போல இல்லை இந்த உடல். பட்டினம் காவலுடையது. பத்திரமானது.

O Ye sicknesses that plague the soul like a swarm of ants over a pot of Ghee! Flee and save yourselves. The Lord of the Vedas has entered my body and made it his abode, reclining on a serpent bed. No more like old, the fortress is on guard!

Paasuram 2:

Chitragupta’s verdict with the stamp affixed by Yama, King of the Southern Quarter, has been quashed; the messengers of death have fled. The lord who reclines in the pearly ocean, Lord of enlightened sages, the ambrosial delight of devotees, has made me his. No more like old, the fortress, is on guard!

Paasuram 3:

O Ye weak forces of karma! You have finally found a match, just see! Do not enter here, not here, not here, not so easy Just see! Know that this is the sacred temple where the man-lion lord my master, reclines. Now run and save your lives. No more like old, the fortress is on guard!

Paasuram 4:

This is a treasure-house of jewels. Any evil minded rogues there, beware! The wonder Lord who came as a beautiful manikin has fondly come to stay in me permanently. So run, do not tarry. No more like old, the fortress is on guard!

Paasuram 5:

O Ye great miserable sicknesses! Listen, Let me tell you something. Know that this, my body, is a temple where the cowherd-Lord resides. O Deep-rooted miseries, let me repeat; you have not place here, know it. So more on. No more like old, the fortress is on guard!

Paasuram 6:

Paasuram 7:

I slipped between two mountain-like bosoms and fell into an abyss, then floundered helplessly in a dark cave. The ocean-hued Lord my master came and saved me, ridding me of my karmas. No more like old, the fortress is on guard!

Paasuram 8:

Purging me of my past karmas, the Lord of yellow vestments came as my Guru and entered into my being. Residing in my lotus-heart, he stamped his footprint on my forehead too. No more like old, the fortress is on guard!

Paasuram 9:

Ye radiant discuss and conch, Vigil! Ye deadly dagger Nandaka, Vigil! Ye beautiful Sarnga bow, Vigil! Ye eternal sentinels of the eight Quarters, Ye king of birds, be vigilant and stand guard over my Lord’s bed-chamber!

Paasuram 10:

The Lord who sleeps in the ocean amid lashing waves, and the lady-of-the Lotus, the resplendent serpent-bed, the beautiful Milk Ocean, all have entered Vishnuchitta’s being, who sang this songs of praise, for guarding the fortress.
