It is true and felt by many.

But the reason is our false identification with our body. Once we come out of this illusion then we will not feel so.

In terms of practical ways to avoid such feeling there are few possibilities:

1. Not to artificially try things beyond limits(defined by actual faith and love).. taking small steps of austerity in a regulated manner
2. To reflect who Perumaal is and who we are, How it is by fortune only we have got the opportunity to see Him or serve Him.  Such thoughts will make us feel encouraged and help us come out of illusion.

Adiyens understanding from Swami’s Pravachanams.
Till one does Sharanagathy in some janma, Perumal waited for many of our janmas as the two birds example from upanishad. So inorder to see how much Bhakthi/affection we got for HIM after Sharanagathy, BhagavAn brings some hindrances.

Like we did not do ThiruAaradhanai for many janmas. In this janma, we started doing it after listening to Swamis pravachanams and Acharya Krupai. So when there are some external disturbances during Aaradhanai,

HE wants to see, are we 1) Skipping it by getting annoyed, or 2) are doing it as much as possible with our Yatha Shakthi and repent for things that we couldn’t do peacefully. BhagavAn doesn’t do this all the time, because HE knows, we are doing Aaradhanai with love towards HIM, but sometimes HE plays HIS leelai to see how much love/affection we got for SriKrishna.

HE likes the ‘latter’ situation 2) than the ‘former’ situation 1). HE only sees our momentary thoughts and how much we can do. SriKrishna is Sulabhar, Elimai’aanavar, Inimai’aanavar as Swami says.
