Dear Srinivasan Gokul Swamy,
kindly permit me to share my thoughts on the above exchange.
There are two possibilities: One is this சிறியன், தாசன் of ராமாநுஜர் (உடையவர்) could actually be a highly evolved devotee whose expressions of devotin are so high that we are not able to perceive the deepth his devotion. eg. Kanakadasar and Thirupaanaazhwar’s devotion was not evident to others around them. If some thing like this is true in the present case, then it is not approrpiate for us to ask him to “go somewhere else”.
The other possibility is, this person who carries this id சிறியன், தாசன் of ராமாநுஜர் (உடையவர்) is an attention seeker; he probably tried expressing his creative writing in different blogs and other such forums but couldn’t get any attention from others. Somehow he realised that he can get some attention in this forum and therefore he keeps posting his creative writing here.
If this is true, then it is better to let him continue to do so. We may recollect Swamy Ramanuja’s final instructions to his sishyas: (pasted from page 19 of https://jetuk.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/Life-of-Ramanuja.pdf)
There are six ways by which you can usefully spend your days:
1.Study the Sri-bhashya and teach it to others — this is most pleasing to God.
2.If this is not possible, study the holy writings of Saint Sattakopan and the other great Saints, and teach them to qualified disciples.
3.Failing this, spend your lives in service to the Lord in the sacred places.
4.Or else construct a hut at Yadavadri (Melkote) and live there in perfect peace.
5.Or remain in your present station, surrendering all your burdens to God and remain immersed in the contemplation of the Sacred Mantras (Thirumanthiram, Dvayam).
6.If none of the above is possible, seek out a holy man who is full of wisdom, devotion and desirelessness, and move with him in such a way that he may be kind towards you. Renouncing all your egoism, follow his teachings — this itself is a means for your enlightenment.
The last option is pertinent to our current discussion; if one is not capable of doing anything, the least one should do is to associate with a holy / saintly person. Now that this சிறியன், தாசன் of ராமாநுஜர் (உடையவர்) has come to this forum, he has inadvertently taken shelter of our Velukkudi Swamy. Gradually by reading some posts here and the interaction with other bhagavathas here, his own original devotion can easily get awakened and soon he may take full shelter of his acharya.
So, let him hang around in any case. If his postings annoy us, then let us refrain from reading those or giving any attention to those.
My own guess is, the fact that he has used Udaiyavar’s name in his id suggest he is not a novice to vaishnava philosophy or vaishnava culture.
Kindly bear with me if I have said anything in approrpriate. Thank you Srinivasan Gokul swamy.
