Based on Sri Velukkudi Swami’s GuruParamparai upanyasam, Swami Pillai LokaCharyar safeguarded NamPerumAl by taking BhagavAn and Nachiyars to   a cave in Jyothiskudi near Madurai during Mughalayar Invasion at SriRangam. Also,  Swami Vedanta Desikar safeguarded SriLakshmi Thayar Moola moorthi  by hiding it under a tree by digging hole.

Swami has said in past Upanyasams that our PoorvAcharyars have struggled a lot for a ‘Common Cause’ to secure the Sampradayam ( EmperumaaAr Dharisanam), so that future generations could cherish and get Athma Ujjivanam.
