AdhivAhikas guide the atma upto viraja river and amAnavan guides atma further after taking dip in viraja river. I understand that amAnavan can be either nityasoory or mukthatma, since amAnavan serves in Nitya vibhudhi. Since AdhivAhikas role is in leela vibhudhi, they could be baddhathma.
