In today’s we understand “kandavar vindilar, vindavar kandilar” we are not affected so let’s not be concerned.

Namaskaram Swami! Here is Adiyen’s understanding. In earlier En PaNi, the message is to be aware of current happenings and be participating since the environment/society will also have an effect of spiritual sadhana that we, as devotees perform. So in that sense, we can not ignore the society in the name of Bhakti.
In today’s En Pani, the message is, the struggle/sufferings of today should get translated into pleasure tomorrow and we hope for the same. This applies to all pursuits (be material or spiritual).
Please correct if there is any misunderstanding.

That is correct understanding. Adiyen think so too.
Swami’s focus was particularly on the current affairs/changes implemented by Arasu. So Swami’s perception is that, the changes appears to be good, but there are immediate suffers are the people, but if the change is going to have a longterm advantage for people, then it is more welcome. But that cannot be judged right now. It can be realized only after few years. So Swami says, let’s wait and see.
