Srimathe Rangaramanuja Mahadesikaya Namaha

How to follow ahara niyamam? Is the focus on eating or not to eat? How food enhances sathvikam?

My colleague asking me how to adhere to EkAdesi vratham? I have asked him not to eat and take tulasi and agathi keerai next day.

Heard in upanyasam that we shouldn’t swallow salaiva. It’s impossible at least to people like adiyen to not swallow salaiva.

Is EkAdesi vratham so tough? Nir jala vratham many North Indians adhere but I can’t be without liquid.

Will cleanliness and acharam increase buddhi dheekshanyam or is it genetic?

We say Indians are intelligent yet we follow western innovations why?

Hare Krishna! Namaskaram!

‘Sathvik’ diet will help instill ‘sathva’ gunam. What ‘is’/’goes’ ‘inside’ reflects ‘outside’. Initial seeking starts with imposing restrictions and later it becomes a habit. Its moving from ‘lower’ taste to ‘higher’ taste. Once the mind starts appreciating ‘higher’ taste, it naturally gets detached from ‘lower’ taste.

‘Outer cleanliness’ helps clean the ‘mind’ as well and thereby the mind will have lot more better clarity. But that alone will not help.

Kali yuga is age of deterioration so everything gets and will get diluted further.

Adiyen.
