Hare Krishna! Aneha koti namaskaram to the lotus feet of Sri Velukkudi Swami!
Are all Jiva’s (Aatma/Soul) equal in knowledge ? If the differences are only because of Ignorance (Agyanam) covering the Jiva, then does that mean, Jivaatmas are equal in knowledge ? By worshipping and learning scriptures, does it only help ‘remove’ the ignorance so Jivaatma’s ‘natural’ state is evidenced ?
In some of the discourses, it sounds like ‘Aatma’ is the source of knowledge but would like to know if Jiva by any means ‘gains’ any knowledge ? In reference to the below sloka, if there is no change to Jiva, then Adiyen’s understanding is that, that unchanging nature should also apply to the knowledge ?
Bg 2.24 — This individual soul is unbreakable and insoluble, and can be neither burned nor dried. He is everlasting, present everywhere, unchangeable, immovable and eternally the same.
Also please clarify the role of ‘Intelligence’ that is part of subtle body in the context of the question.
Request mercy of Sri Velukkudi Swami to clear the doubts.
Sarvam Sri Krishnaarpanam!
