Dear Swamiji,
Are aupasanam and agnihotram optional karmas for Sri Vaishnavas? Don’t these karmas come under our nitya karmas?
I understand, in olden days, one can’t perform any vaidika karma without maintaining these two fires?
Does our varna dharma become complete without performing both these karmas? Do we become a complete Sri Vaishnava without maintaining these fires?
If these karmas are a must, what led to the decline of this dharma among brahmanas who are otherwise very pious sri vaishnavas / brahmanas?
