Aneka Koti Namaskaarams to Shri Velukkudi Swamy.

While speaking on ten incarnations, generally people are in agreement about Matsya, Kurma, Varaha, Narasimha, Vamana, Barghava, Rama, Krishna and Kalki.

Few people say Balarama is an Avatara of Maha Vishnu and few say Buddha. So, there is a contradiction.

Adiyen’s understanding is this cannot be Gautama Buddha as our Acharyas defeated Buddhism and thrown away from India.

Adiyen remember that Devarir also told in one of speeches that it’s different Buddha.

May I request Devarir to enlighten Adiyen on which Buddha is mentioned here? Any reference to scriptures?

Srimathe Rangaramanuja Mahadesikaya Namaha

This was answered in EnPani also and came up as one of the discussions here. Buddha is also a Vishnu’s (Kalla) avathAram but not part of Dasavatharam. Buddha preached against Vedas to isolate incorrect vedic practitioners.

The above was explanation given by Velukkudi Swamy in several upanyasams and also in EnPaNi. adiyen will search and share the audio when found.
