We were. told the brightest star near the moon was Dhruva nakshatra during our childhood days.
Also we can worship dhruva Swamy & Narada Swamy in photo. You can find in Google images. There is a difference between worshipping the Globe and Bhuma Devi. Same way.
“Physically if we cannot perceive a thing we can perceive the alter” is the crux of Srimath Bhagavatham.
When Parikshit failed to perceive the 14 layers prakruthi then Sukha Brummam asked him to see as baby Krishna.
Seeing the sky is one thing. Seeing in photo is another.
There are some issues in the seeing sky daily like “We should not see some pirai of moon 🌒 🌙”
So daily I don’t think it is possible as reference point is moon
We also cannot see during cloudy/rainy days.
Also during eclipse

What we need to do, is to strengthen our bhakthi like Dhruvan or Prahladhan.
Goal is to be in Vishnu’s service. Like we worship Hanuman who is also living like Dhruvan as a chiranjeevi.
