Aneka Koti Namaskaarams Swamy,
Adiyen’s father read in a news paper that few students were asked to remove their Sacred Threads while writing NEET exam.
What an idiortic rule, touching the religion and sentiments of an individual? This is our birth right.
If someone tells Adiyen to do that, Adiyen would prefer to avoid the exam rather than doing this act. Adiyen’s father was upset whole night after seeing the news. He lost sleep and peace. Adiyen tried to convince him by saying that we are in Kali Kaalam. But, he keeps worried for this. This is the reason why Adiyen avoid reading news papers.
Here is the news lines from Dhina Thanti dated 7-May-2018, Page 3.
If Adiyen’s father is upset just by reading it in paper, the condition of a student who faced this may be more worse or may not be depending on his seriousness about this.
However, Adiyen is asking this for the benefit of public. Can a Brahmin remove his sacred thread for some reason other than to change it or during an Amangala karyam? If he can do, does Sastras give any Pariharam?
