Still it seems like the person whomever BhagavAta is referring, doesn’t seem to have a dilemma in choosing a FIRM Goal in life, as to which sampradhayam to follow. It appears like the person wants to switch back and forth between sampradhayam, which is not good for their own spiritual progress. First follow the existing Dwaita sampradhayam that person is born, then if the person is attracted with some aspects of Visishtaadvaitam, then depending up on their own interest/family situation, they can adopt Visishtadvaitam and Samasrayanam. Then there is no necessity of switching back.
Short Answer:
Anyone from any Sampradhayam can do Samsrayanam . Swami says there is “NO Desa niyamam, NO Kaala Niyamam, NO Adhikari Niyamam, NO Prakara Niyamam, NO Phala Niyamam” to do Samasrayanam/Prapatti/Panchasamskaram to get Swami Ramanujar Sambhandham. SO, there is no concern in switching to Vishstaadvaitam. As far as changing back from Vishsitadvaitam back to other samprdhayams, there is no history so far, since everyone who got Ramanujar Sambhandham got Moksham in same Janma. This is a ONE-way Route.
By getting Samasrayanam/PanchSamskaram/Prapatti in Visishtadvaitham , one ACTUALLY gets “Swami Ramanujar Sambhandham”, through which they get Moksham/SriVaikuntam in same Janma due to BhagavAn SriRama (NamPerumal’s) Promise to Swami Ramanujar as seen in “Gadya Trayam”.
