Recently I was reading a blog on Mamunigal.One member said ” Mamunigal took sannyasam from adivan Satagopa jeeyar “. This is commonly misunderstood nowadays.
This is to bring a kind notification to all sri vaishnavas that Mamunigal took sanyasam from Satagopa jeeyar who is his saha pati ( class mate ) who was the 6th pontiff jeeyar in a mutt near alwar thirunagari.
Not from athivan Satagopa jeeyar of ahobila mutt.
