Yes, SriRama’s character/appearance (as below image) like handsome, Masculine personality, charming, powerful, attractive speech, polite, forebearing etc…made even the rishi’s attracted towards SriRama during HIS exile period visit to ahramas. Rishi’s by Mind wanted to hug SriRama, since all JeevAthmas in Rishi bodies or any male bodies are actually FEMALES, and ONLY MALE is PURUSHOTTHAMAN “The ParamAthma Supreme SriRama”. However due to SriRama’s particular Avataram as a Human and Respectable person (MARYAADHA PURUSHOTTHAMAN), HE made restrictions to HIMSELF to accomplish the tasks of this SriRama Avataram, due to which HE said to Rishi’s that HE is “EKA PATHNI VRATHAN”, only one wife Sita in this Avatar, and I can’t have more. So HE told rishi’s to wait for Dwapara yuga for HIM to take as SriKrishna Avatar and informed Rishi’s to take birth as Gopikas for Unlimited fun, where HE said I will not have any restrictions as SriRama Avatar, and NO ONE CAN QUESTION ME, and I will have fun as much as possible and marry many females as much as possible. In modern terms, HE was a Playboy (as below image) in SriKrishna Avatar, since everything and everyone belongs to HIM, which is the ABSOLUTE TRUTH.

According to Shastram how many wives can one (male) have?

“EKA PATHNI VRATHAN”, only one wife Sita in this Avatar, and I can’t have more.”

My friend said if 1st wife agrees then one can have second wife. Also a husband should given equal attention to both wives. Then it is acceptable. These are intricacies.

According to current Hindu law One must get divorced.

Unfortunately there is no mantra for divorce I believe. This is a contradiction.

If 1st wife dies can one marry 2nd wife?

According to SAmudrikA Lakshanam a male should have certain level of female attributes to look beautiful. My amma used to say. May be her grand ma told her.

So Showing SriRam as body builder is unacceptable and saying Rishis fell for it is BAD TASTE.

Is there any reference for your above reply. I do not think Rishis’ would wanted to hug Rama due the masculine attributes mentioned. I feel it would be degrading rishis.

Adiyen has doubt that when Vishitaadwaitam takes into consideration the realities of life (say we are real, in blood and flesh, pain is real etc), as opposed to Adwaita which considers everything is mayaa, then how come when there is apparent difference as to male and female, it is being said that All Jeevaathmas are female, in our Vishitaadwaitam – is it like in this case only, we go metaphoric or incline towards mayaa concept?

(In this connection, we do note that All while being born, the default is feminine and thereafter a signal may make some to be masculine gender).

It’s normal when a devotee attains higher state of Bhakthi with Supereme Lord Krishna, like Swami NamAlwar’s Nayaki Bhavam and ThiruMangai Alwars Nayaki Bhavam towards BhagavAn while in a male body. It’s tough to explain in threads unless we understand that all JeevAthmas are FEMALES in a male or female human body can feel as “Mahishi (queen)” of Supreme Lord SriKrishna. There is a incident in GuruParamparai where Swami ParasaBhattar Swami was doing Kalakshepam of Thiruvaimozhi and when Swami was informing about the Nayaki Bhavam, about NamAlwar’s intimacy with Perumal, some of the devotees in front row got up and walked away, since they thought ParasaraBhattar Swami was explaining some uncensored content instead of spiritual discourse, which means those devotees gyana level was not enough to understand and feel the Nayaki Bhavam. So ParasaraBhattar kept his hand on His forehead and murmerred with disappointment on those devotees “இவங்களுக்கு எல்லாம் எப்ப ஞானம் வரும்ன்னு தெரியலையே?”, So it’s no wonder Rishi’s wanted to hug SriRama. Its normal.

adiyen listened to the upanyasam of Sri. Velukkudi Krishnan Swamy on ‘Azhvargalin Nayika Bhavam’. He has mentioned parathanthriyam quality of female to be reason for nayika bhavam over swathanthriyam quality of male. He has not mentioned the meaning of those pasurams in the physical sense as indicated in your posting.
