Yes as pointed above by Kambandasan swami, they are taking away some karma by scolding.

Whenever I am in such circumstances, i introspect myself and think that probably I am doing something wrong and so Perumaal is indirectly arranging this to correct me. (it can be a direct error in my attitude to work or some laxity in my daily spiritual practices or thought about others).

It may not be the reason in all cases or in your case, other reasons could be as said above he is taking away your bad karma.

Another reason is when such situations happen, and if we remain sober and undisturbed, it will bring glory to our teacher and our teachings that we follow. 

For example as Perumaal treated Bhrigu munivar with so much care despite his mistake, we cannot go to that level , but if try in that direction, either one of the things will happen..1) if there is any mistake in our side Perumaal will help us to overcome it..2) if not the other person will automatically feel embarrassed and will experience change of heart.

In Bhagavatham the so called mistake that Parikshit Maharaj did, opened opportunity for Bhagavatham to be recited.. similarly the so called mistake done to you has created a new thread in this forum to discuss Vaishnava philosophy’s principles in such situations.

Lord Sri Krishna accomplishes so many things by just one action/incident.

Coincidentally Sri Velukkudi Swami’s Mahabharata audio ( no 19, dated 16th May) given many years ago coincides with this thread’s discussion.

The entire audio is not on this subject, but he deals a portion on how to deal when others scold us..

As described above there are many perspectives to this situation,  swami considers one such situation and says we should not counteract and be aggressive to them. If we don’t react, that will be the best defeat for the opponent. That is what Swamy says.

Exactly said BhagavAtas Partially,

But the full actual reason Why Swami says we should not be “Aggressive” is because “WE ALL ARE NOT PERFECT“, So when we try to be aggressive or harsh on others, then it is under assumption that we are correct or Perfect, which is not true, since each of us are not perfect. This is like we all living inside a “Glass House” and throwing stones at others, as if we are correct and pointing in others mistakes though we would have committed the same mistake in a different place at different times. But BhagavAn keeps an account of our each action and it returns AUTOMATICALLY back to us only  like the “Boomerang Analogy” as Swami mentioned in recent Enpani.

 

What we throw is what we get back in return like the “Boomerang Analogy”.

 

This “Throw” means our Actions Done (Karma’s) either past, actions, present actions (ongoing) or future actions

 

So when we say, you are incorrect, then BhagavAn will setup someone to say to us that “you are incorrect” in a different location and we will be clueless as to why this incident happened to me, when I did not do anything in this particular place.

 

Like if we advise a person strictly, then we will be advised strictly by someone. This is is BhagavAns System.

 

So Velukkudi Swami says, since EACH of us while in Samsaram WILL NEVER BE PERFECT, the best solution is change “AGGRESSION to SUGGESTION“.

 

So based on Boomerang Analogy, what we throw will return back to us. So throwing a “light weight boomerang (suggestion) will return back to us as someone “Suggestive” to us which is easy to catch and we don’t get injured and makes our life easier.

 

But if we throw “Aggression (heavy duty Boomerang), it will return to us only and if we don’t catch it properly, then it can injure us and cause serious damage.

 

So based in “Boomerang Analogy (Karma Theory)“,

1) Avoid AGGRESSION if we are scared of Aggression in Return,

2) Avoid SUGGESTION if we are soft hearted to even accept SUGGESTION in return,

3) Best is “KEEP Quite”, so the return is “Quite”. That’s why we are avoiding counteract or not reacting to a Aggressive situation, it is NOT meant to be understod as opponent will lose.

 

It’s ones own choice, what we need in return is what we need to throw. Super theory by BhagavAn. That’s why BhagavAn expects us to use our Freedom Freewill (Jeeva Swathantriyam) and utilize it properly as per HIS Wish.

 

So the ideal situation, KEEP QUITE or EVEN IF WE DECIDE TO TALK (Open Mouth), then talk ONLY GOOD THINGS about others (POSITIVE MIND), like if one says or bluffs 10 things, just pick only the one good thing out of what they spoke and skip the remaining 9 odd things, don’t answer it. If you look at adiyen’s all threads, Adiyen try to follow this method (Positive mind) as much as possible with Acharya ThiruvAdi Bhalam and Velukkudi Swami’s Aasirvadham.

 

That’s why Velukkudi Sri Krishnan Swami has graced answer in enpani #543 “Suggestion or Aggression”, where Swami concludes that we devotees have to be suggestive and not aggressive, since Swami says we all are not perfect. Swami lowers Himself in this enpani as Swami is not perfect, though we devotees know that Swami doesn’t do any mistakes & Swami is Perfect.

 

And further Swami says in Mahabharat episode as mentioned in previous thread not to react and keep quite if we cannot face suggestion, and it is not to be understood as opponent defeat, since as per Boomerang Analogy, the type 3) Quiteness is what we throwed, so we are getting the same in return.

 

This is what Adiyen has understood with Acharya ThiruvAdi Bhalam and Velukkudi Swami’s Aasirvadham / Abhimaanam and adiyen referred to Vikram Swami for the same question in the below thread in the past.

Based on the Boomerang Analogy, honestly based on Vikram Swami’s above post “……Do what I say, you are below me, is this okay to anyone other than God?………”, it appears to be that Vikram Swami said the same thing to his brother or someone in office or somewhere else in this Janma or past Janma, which returned to Vikram Swami at a different time automatically. But this is purely based on adiyen’s thought process based in Swami’s Boomerang Analogy, but only BhagavAn knows the truth, and also Vikram may know the truth if he remembers it.

 

So what is the solution is BhagavAn expects us to use our Freedom Freewill (Jeeva Swathantriyam) and utilize it properly as per HIS Wish.

skip type 1) aggression, if we don’t want it return, follow type 2) suggestion. If we still don’t want suggestion in return, best is follow type 3) “Keep Quite”, very simple formula, and this Boomerang Analogy is common/impartial for all, not matter what we try to argue about it, since it is BhagavAns Beautiful Design. Automatically these odd happenings in life will slowly subside due to Acharya Krupai.

Devareer is interesting with own interpretation. Nathikas interpretation is to be ignored, but vaidhehaas like devareer or Adiyen interpretation should be proper due to MAHA-VISHWASAM on SriRama BhagavAn lotus Feet.

 

Devareer’s unknowing statement as “……………Wow, So Sri Ram did some mistake & Ravan took Sita away is it?.…………” should be changed as per Acharyas teachings, which is as follows.

 

First, the Boomerang Analogy is common and Impartial to all who has KARMAS like devareer or Adiyen or anyone……..
Second Sri Rama and SitaPiratti are Divya Dampathis. It doesn’t apply to them. It is not necessary for Adiyen to inform devareer that they DONT HAVE ANY KARMAS, since devareer should know it already as a Sharanagathan. Isn’t it Vikram Swami?

 

So we have listen to Poorvacharyas Upanyasams to understand the real story for ourselves First since we are Aasthikas.

 

It was LEELAI of SitaPiratti and SriRama to Save the Deva Sthrees (Deva Ladies) from Ravana, since Devas did Sharanagathy on the lotus Feet of Divya Dampathis. Not the other way like devareer’s own interpretation of Wow, So Sri Ram did some mistake & Ravan took Sita away is it?.…………” …….

 

Now devareer throwed this statement Boomerang on Divya Dampathis, but it won’t return back to devareer, since they are Karunai Ullam, but other than that, everything we throw returns to us, like if we do punya throw, we get Punya, if we throw Paapa, we get Paapa, because these throw that we do are on to  some other JeevAthma who is a PROPERTY of SitaPiratti and SriRama, and not our property.

 

So it is best to follow things with Positive mind if we chose to do some action, if not we should be quite, since Boomerang Analogy is common and Impartial to all of us who has KARMAS like devareer or Adiyen or anyone of us. No choice.

 

Srimadh Ramayanam is for us to cherish on Divya Dhampatis and know about Sharanagathy and Kainkaryam.

This is adiyen’s exact point. For all kashtams there need not be boomerang principle. Perumal azhudhArA illaiyA? Adhu avar sankapam.

So PerumaL nenacha boomerang velai seyyama panana mudiyum. As he is not bound by karma.

Coming to Sharanagathi, a Sharanagathan is basically a MuMukshu. So practical issues should not hinder his joyful journey.

A Sharanagathan don’t do karma as others does as he is not interested in results. For a Sharanagathan the boomerang SHOULD NOT hit as hard as it does for others.

Patience has various levels. I know sapta kanni who were patient when a deva asked them to marry but those kanyAs refused. Deva punished those girls for not marrying

Finally those girl’s father said ” Though you girls were capable of punishing (bane) deva you did not use your powers for negative purpose

Finally those girls were married to deva with a amicable solution

At one end Krishna asks arjuna to fight
Other end patience is recommended

So I am completely wrong. Its not for nyAna yOgis.
By following it one may become NyAni.

So i should supress/forego my emotions or don’t care if insulted.
Even if i am praised I should don’t care.

Very Simple Vikram Swami.

For everything there is answer, but if the answerer (responder) gets a feeling that the questionnaire is not in a position to receive or accept the BhagavAn mechanism due to rajasik/tamasik vaasanaas in break, then it will be answered at a later time when the questionnaires sathivik Guna is on peak. So at this moment just as FYI, there are fours types of Boomerang where each ones functionality/ mechanism are different. The above mentioned in example is only one type of Boomerang. Others situation’s/ happenings in life are related to the remaining 3 types of Boomerang, where each ones functionality/ mechanism are different.

When it will be understood is, we need to keep. FULL Belief in SriRama that everything happening in ones own life (like odd or good), there is some reason to it, and some could be our own issue and some not our issue.

So Adiyen has answer for all these, and after monitoring devareer’s Satvika behaviour and reflection of how devareer keep MAHA-VISHWASAM on SriRama’s lotus Feet, Adiyen will judge if it is necessary to answer.

Anyone who can say the answer based on “PoorvaAcharyas teachings AS IT IS with reference to a Pramaanam“, then it is authentic answer which will not have our IGNORANT INSERTION as mentioned by Velukkudi Swami beautifully in today’s Enpani #1746 as “Moodar Avaar“. Like Adiyen or devareer or anyone who doesn’t follow this critetia are called as “Moodar” by Poorvacharyas.

So if devareer share answer as per Enpani 1746, then devareer is considered as one among the senior devotees. The only person who inserts answers based on ones own interpretation is the one who refuses to follow the above critetia and such persons populate incorrectly as “BhagavAtA Apacharam” when we inform them back that “No you are wrong”.

Secondly, there might be variations in PoorvAchAryAs views example

For SahasranAmam recitation

  1. Mukkur Sri Lakshmi NarasimhAchAriyAr says “Women SHOULD NOT RECITE”
  2.  Srimushnam Srimath Periya Andavan Sri Rangaramanuja Mahadesikan Swamy says ” Women can recite only the nAmAvali not the sankalpam and Phala sthuthi”
  3. Velukkudi Swamy says everyone can recite

So lets keep our assumptions aside and pick whatever relevant to us. Let’s not debate on who is right and who is wrong. We have several forums for that purpose.

Also let’s not try very hard to potray someone as against AcharyAs and gain popularity this will not workout.

It is applicable to adiyen or devareer or anyone…….So now, please don’t be preconceived again and ask a question that “…..Ok, what i throw will return to me, adiyen agree, How about Devar……?, For that adiyen has already answered just now again in the above sentence as “It is applicable to adiyen or devareer or anyone…”.

It doesn’t mean, devareer is always Rajasik/Tamasik, but devareer also has Satvik Gunas in many threads which is appreciated, but whenever devareer Rajasik/Tamasik guna will pop-up, especially this Dharma Sandeha is a public forum and not our private forum, such gunas will be encountered in the earliest timing when noticed by adiyen or any other BhagavAtas who notices it. This is purely to help devareer, since in may the threads, devareer has asked for help like “……………….How to control my aggression,…………………How to control my ego,………………………… how to control my BhagavAta Apacharams…..etc….”. So we are only Helping devareer.

 

So Don’t worry Vikram Swami, adiyen will appreciate when devareer does Satvika reflections, and adiyen will point out when devareers Rajasik/Tamasik is in peak, by NOT saying directly “YOU are Wrong”, but in a positive way may be as “Appadi seyya koodaadhu Thambi“. How about that Vikram Swami? This is adiyen’s style.

 

Adiyen can see some threads with clear examples where devareer throws “Aggression” on some other devotees, but devareer expectancy in return is “Suggestion” or “No one should defend me”. This doesn’t work that way Swami, since the Boomerang Analogy is BhagavAn’s Design which is common/Impartial for adiyen or devareer or anyone, same as we discussed above, What we throw is what we get in Return, no alternate choices….So Expecting Positive Mind in Return is not ONE WAY, like we can say whatever we want but other should say Positive to us. It doesn’t work that way Swami. ITS TWO WAY (Be Positive, Get Positive).  If we (adiyen or devareer or anyone) want others to say Positive to us, we should be Positive/Patient to others at all times, keep trying, BhagavAn will Help through Acharya’s Grace.

Adiyen did not point out devareer. Adiyen just saying devarer’s reference is incorrect.

Adiyen was asking why Ravan did a mistake? According to boomerang principle there should be a reason.

By saying Perumal did a leelai, it sounds like PerumaL’s leelai was the starting point of Ravan’s mistake.

Technically its correct , in fact entire creation is Perumal’s leelai.

In Ravan’s case he was doing atrocities not because he wanted to go back to Sri Vaikuntam

He was doing because he was a sinner by nature. He didin’t want to correct himself

No action provoked him to do. Did Ravan remember his previous birth? I don’t think so , if he had remembered he wouldn’t have done any mistake in first place

Namaskaaram swamis, looks like this thread has taken unexpected twists and turns.

I share some of my thoughts on some of the topics discussed above.

  1. Even though Boomerang principle is true, we should not apply it to others or see that others are suffering due to their past actions, we should apply it to ourselves and if others are interested they can choose to apply it to themselves.
  2. Secondly Boomerang principle is a continuous chain of cause and effect, it is impossible to know clearly if one event or action is a  cause or effect..  If person A and person B are involved, for one it may be a cause for a future event and for one it may be an effect of a past event.. and there many more combinations. But the principle is we need not try to know whether an event is a cause or effect. We only need to know what we need to do. 
  3. Reference from Srimad Bhagavatham 1st canto chapter 17  “He [Mahārāja Parīkṣit] repeatedly addressed and questioned the bull thus: O son of Surabhi, who has cut off your three legs? In the state of the kings who are obedient to the laws of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Kṛṣṇa, there is no one as unhappy as you”
Text 17: The personality of religion( bull) said: These words just spoken by you befit a person of the Pāṇḍava dynasty. Captivated by the devotional qualities of the Pāṇḍavas, even Lord Kṛṣṇa, the Personality of Godhead, performed duties as a messenger.
Text 18: O greatest among human beings, it is very difficult to ascertain the particular miscreant who has caused our sufferings, because we are bewildered by all the different opinions of theoretical philosophers.
Text 19: Some of the philosophers, who deny all sorts of duality, declare that one’s own self is responsible for his personal happiness and distress. Others say that superhuman powers are responsible, while yet others say that activity is responsible, and the gross materialists maintain that nature is the ultimate cause.
Text 20: There are also some thinkers who believe that no one can ascertain the cause of distress by argumentation, nor know it by imagination, nor express it by words. O sage amongst kings, judge for yourself by thinking over all this with your own intelligence.
Text 21: Sūta Gosvāmī said: O best among the brāhmaṇas, the Emperor Parīkṣit, thus hearing the personality of religion speak, was fully satisfied, and without mistake or regret he gave his reply.
Text 22: The King said: O you, who are in the form of a bull! You know the truth of religion, and you are speaking according to the principle that the destination intended for the perpetrator of irreligious acts is also intended for one who identifies the perpetrator. You are no other than the personality of religion.
 
So It is clear that we cannot identify the cause so easily and if we do so we take a part of the reactions as well.
 
3. So now coming to what we should do, there was one verse quoted from Bhagavat Gita by Kamban dasan swami on how one should be neutral without happiness or sadness during times like when we are respected or insulted. Then Vikram swami quited how Lord Krishna asked Arjuna to fight, Both are true if seen in correct context. The first instruction given to be equally situated is when our own material self ( mind body and intelligence) experience comfort or discomfort Sri Krishna asks Arjuna to remain calm without getting excited or depressed. In Arjuna’s case his mental impression of fighting with his relatives and Guru was creating a mental block in his service , So Krishna said be equanimous to these kind of your likes and dislikes.
Then when it comes to service to Krishna ( in this case to establish Righteous dharmic kingdom) Krishna asks Arjuna to fight.
So in our case we should not fight for saving our mind , intelligence and false ego. But if there is danger to our service to Krishna , we should defend and take necessary action to protect the service . So if one is working as a service so as to maintain a spiritually centered family and the job is the source of maintenance for all the family members who are devotees , then to protect the service, whatever needs to be done must be done. It can be done in multiple ways- best is to be defensive, aggression is allowed to the proportion we are pure in that service and if the service requires it. 
Arjuna was highly pure so he can go the extent of killing as well, which may not be applicable to many of us. But each person can decide what is best for their case , and in critical situations can consult senior members of the family or sath sangam.

For a Saranagata its important to understand as stated in the Gita chapter 3 about Karma Yogam, which classifies it, in remembering the 3 major pointers, one Kartartva Bhudhi Tyagam, Mamakara Tyagam and Tayenda Phalan Tyagam, The main highlight of Karma Yogam is about doing every task but with utmost detachment and doing the required task or duty for duty’s sake and as a worship to Sri Hari, that’s what he likes i.e understanding the true meaning and implementing his teaching to the fullest, don’t worry if in any case any task assigned to you remains incomplete, however you put your 100% effort i.e keeping in mind the principles and guidelines set and liked by sri krishna .Since he only also stated in the Gita, A task done with keeping in mind the guidelines issued  by me and with unconditional faith then even if the assigned material task isn’t complete but your transcendental activity is certainly complete 100% since when He the ultimate is satisfied then since all are part and parcel of him, would certainly be satisfied. So don’t worry, one more samadhanam could also be, since this is your last birth in the bhoo lokam and the next birth is only in Sri Vaikuntam, for which there should not be any karmas in backlog, for which Bhagwan when through Acharyan, Pirati and Thirumal’s Grace  made us to perform Saranagati, immediately all the infinite life times Karmas are ( Theeynil Dhoos Agum ); As per Andaal’s Pasuram, what is left is just this life’s limited amount of karmas, Bhagwan is only waiting for that to exhaust and once done through his grace, then certainly the next moment will be on the side of Vrija Nadi to proceed further towards Divya Dampati. You can ask that why can’t he not eradicate all the karmas now itself, the samadhanam could be, in order to develop Vairagyam from this material world and a die hard urge to get to the lord, remember Gokula Sthree “Chintamani’s” story . And for more detailed explanation on Karma yoga, do read Swami Vivekananda’s book over the same name from google. I hope this suffices, all credits of the above content to Acharyan, Divya Dampati and Sri Velukkudi Krishnan Swamy’s Upanayasams.

Swamy Ramanuja-dasan, I agree with your explanation on  Kartartva Bhudhi Tyagam, Mamakara Tyagam and Phalan Tyagam. But I disagree with your suggestion to read Vivekananda’s writing. His understanding is not as per Vishista-adwaitam. May be some part of his writing may match our acharyas’ teachings but differ in other parts. So, reading that is likely to at the worst mislead the reader or at the least confuse the reader. We have so many Vaishnava acharyas specifically those in Ramanuja sampradaya who have extensively written and spoken on this topic and that should be our reference to safely go back to Vaikuntha without confusions in course of this life time.

The easiest source of reference is upanyasams on Bhagavad GIta by our Velukkudi swamy.

 Kambandasan Swami, I too agree with you over what you mentioned, since we all are very much blessed that our Azhwars and Poorvacharyas who have left treasure of jewels to carry on  and utilize for the remaining part of our life and ultimately reach Sri Hari’s abode, but the only reason I suggested it was because it totally synced with what krishna has stated in the Gita and even there is Pramanam through Sri Velukkudi Krishnan Swamy’s Upanayasams, Moreover I personally read it and most importantly the author stresses upon Doing Work( Karma) that too what is required as per demand and situation and not to remain Idle and renounce work, again the same thing as stated by Krishna to Arjuna. Moreover if you read  the book once you yourself will find that the author has carried forward the teachings of Sri Krishna to the General Public as a general observation, however it does’nt hinders, nor confuses the readers by stressing upon one particular argument or statement.

However if you check out his Raja Yoga book, there offcourse it mentions, Liberation or Atma Sakshatkaram (Kaivalya only) through Ashtanga Yoga and since he himself practised it and got liberation . So again, I agree with you swami completely that we need not have to roam anywhere for enlightenment since our poorvacharyas texts and current Acharyas Anugraham along side with Divya Dampathis’s is in itself is enough, but however, if an individual has the curiosity to get knowledge and seriously desires for it then certainly Thirumal won’t leave him in standstill and lurch .For just curiosity he will make sure that his child must get what he desires with ultra most care since what knowledge the child wants to acquire isn’t something material rather of the supreme. For this, Sri Krishnan Swamy in his upanayasams has so many times said, if you wish to acquire knowledge of Bhagwan then he will certainly help  you with the required sources, herein required sources just not mean Internet Facility etc.. it also most importantly mean, what in TN is called as “PAGUTHE ARIVU” ( To differentiate between what is Right or Wrong )

Please in any case do not mistook me, that I wanted to prove my point right, its just that I am seriously blessed to have got this platform to express my views which are certainly the divine experiences of the lord to his bhakta, wherein the above mentioned in the previous post, was a suggestion which through Acharyan and Divya Dampathis Anugraham got a divine experience and not mention it worked and was enlightening, Firstly  these experiences are in itself are very much bracing and that to  share it with Bhaktas i.e if you are seriously curious about knowing him then you would not have even thought of that particular source but you will get it . More to share , when the right time comes.

Dear Ramanuja-dasan swamy,

Thank you for sharing. Personally I don’t trust my mind to make decisions. I am very much afraid that if I stray away from our acharyas’ teachings my mind may get tempted by explorative tendency and get enamoured by topics and explanations where seemingly correct explanations are mixed with improprer explanations. Being a person who lacks proper discimination, I filter out such sources right at the first step and stick to our acharya’s teachings. This way I know I am safe. For example, if I go and read Mr.V’s book for karma yoga as you have mentioned, somehow if my mind gets captivated by his writing style or whatever, then I may be tempted to read his Raja yoga and other writings. Before I realise, I will be lost completely!

If Velukkudi swamy shares something, it is like the mother eating the bitter medicine and giving the essence to the child. He has the discrimination to do so. So, if something comes through him that is very much acceptable. 

In fact, in Sri Vaishanva sampradaya literature there are many example borrowed from adwaita scholars, and appropriately explained by our acharyas. Because it comes throught them, I know it is safe for me. But does that mean I can go and try to extract the good from adwaita writings myself? No; firstly I dont’ have the intelligence and discrimination to do so; secondly, I don’t have the time… there is so much to learn from our acharyas that I can not afford time to read other literature.

If there is shortage of food in my home then I may think of eating from outside. But when there is so much nutritious tasty food at my home prepared by my loving parents, why would I want to explore outside? One life time is not sufficient to read and learn all that our acharyas have given us; then why waste time reading other things where I have to be careful to weed out non-sampradaya explanations? Especially when I am not intelligent enough to do so?

When I am careful like this for my own welfare, I wouldn’t dare to recommend others to stray to outside sources.

As you rightly said, if someone is genuinely interested Perumal will guide that person to genuine knowledge. That way he has guided my to our acharyas’ teachings. Now if I stray out that is not due to ‘genuine interest’; rather it is due to ‘curiosity’ that kind of curiosity the cat in the famous proverb had.

I am in kali yuga; I know things that are not genuine are usually more attractive to the material senses and mind. I am an easy prey for such temptations. Hence I tend to keep away; and I wouldn’t suggest the same to others.

 I want your opinion on how to practice and follow Ekadesi in college hostel,  even if followed, then the next day certainly by 8:30 to do parayanam and break the fast with the prescribed meals only, if not followed then will it be shastra virudham and apart from this also suggest me over how to consume the hostel food ( Rajas and Tamas) in mind?????

This query could have been posted as a new thread.
To break the fast some simple easy to make dish like aval pori kadalai can be offered as neivadyam to Lord onside hostel.room and paarayanam can be broken.
But i understand that some these items are not considered pure by some as they are partially cooked before. But definitely they will be purer than the hostel food.
Nellikai can be bought and offered to Lord in room and can be used for parayanam as well.

Regarding hostel food while consuming it can pray deeply to Krishna that due to circumstances i am stuck and taking this non prasadam.. but kindly if you feel so please provide me a situation where i can offer you neivadyam and take prasadam only..when taken with that mood the effect of raj as and tamas will be reduced and you will surely be provided a better oppurtunity conducive for your spirtual growth..there are so many possibilities..a well spiritual relative may shift to your city, some caterers or mess operators who cook as per vaideha standards may be available, or you may rent your own place outside hostel to have cooking facilities..not sure what is Krishna’plan ..need to wait and see.
Prayers of velukkudi swami and other bhakthas in the forum will help to unfold the plan.

Swami by sheer coincidence which is perumaal ‘s arrangement i just watched this video from Velukkudi swami s youth program where one boy has asked the same question as you have asked about managing hostel food.

You can watch the whole video and the 20+ parts linked to it..but the specific question comes in 14th minute , 13.30 or so.
Krishna s reciprocation is very dynamic and magnanimous.

Until the situation unfolds, i would suggest to offer some water and a fruit every day to Perumaal and recite the ” Patrram pushpam Palam Toyam ..”  9.26 BG sloka, if the situation permits.depending on hostel environment and if fruits are available nearby.

This way you will get some  prasadam every day.!

Thanks swami , also as u suggested above to carry that particular question by creating thread , but even after several attempts unfortunately it’s not even getting listed, I at once thought that the issue was only in not showing the preview but to my surprise even in the my profile section it showed no threads created .

Thanks to the moderators! If they perceive some question has been already answered in this forum or in Swamy’s en pani, they filter out the question you post.

While i do appreciate the prudence in doing so, it makes me wonder why this criteria is not uniformly applied. Sometimes some of this things that are posted as ‘questions’ can hardly be consdered a question! Nevertheless the moderators let is pass through their filter! For example, consider one of the recent postings “டாஸ்மாக் போனயா கொரோனாட்ட மாட்டீண்டயா”. Is this really a question? The intent of this posting is not clear to me! It is a light hearted post and so some of us have responded in line with that spirit. One of the member’s guess is “May be, he is requesting Swami to propogate “no alcoholic drinks to society””. Even if this guess is true, I don’t think this is an appropraite way to request to our Swamy. So, it escapes all my reasoning how this (and a few other posts) get approved by the moderators while genuine questions as one expressed by you gets filtered out!

Swamis i am not sure what exactly is happening, but there are few possibilities.
1. Some technical glitch in the software.(compatability from mobile, desktop, various browser platforms etc.)
2. If raamanujadasan swamy is a new user, he must made aware of the usual rule of posting a thread and approving it from our following page in a mobile phone to make it appear.
I mostly think it may not be a manual moderation issue,as if it is the case,they cannot do live moderation so it will appear atleast for first few minutes atleast before it is filtered.
