Does nAma dhyAnam exposes the roopam?

Assuming Adiyen not seen the photo or picture of SriRam.

If Adiyen gets into dhyAnam will SriRam come in SriRam’s form? With bow & arrow.

If yes, what is the roopam of Sri Hari?
Why instead of SriHari came Sri Narasimha?

When Ratnakara did nama-dhyanam (“maramaramaramaara”), he became inquisitive to know about the gunam of Perumal; Sage Naradha revealed to him the gist of SriRama’s leelai on earth. Soon the full details of leelai of SriRama unfolded in his heart! He composed Ramayana.

Thus in his case, nama dhyanam led to realisation of roopam, gunam and leelai of SriRama.

Swamy, Adiyen thought of this vAlmiki Swamy event. PrahlAdhan did SriHari NAma sankeerthanam & dhyAnam, why Perumal came in Nara Hari Roopam?

Then he should come in the roopam entangled with the SriHari nAmA correct?

In Samskrtam, Hari = Simha = Lion. May be that is why!!

Adiyen thought that also. Hari=Lion. He was Nara-Hari though. Anyway it means Perumal reveals at his will not as how we want him to be.

May be it’s different from what Krishna said in Bhagavath Gita ?

I will come the way you want
My want or his will?

Sabari mAtA saw SriRam without knowing his appearance before. May be Guru might have described his appearance.

I know this much – even if ‘mara’ is not His name, if someone chants that He out of his compassion assumes His name is being chanted and bestows special blessings.

Adiyen Dasanudasan

Please think along the lines of our swamy’s instruction in EnPani 2150 பகவானின் புரியாத பகுதி.

அடியேனின் புரிதல்: நமக்கு பக்தி இருக்கும் அளவுக்கேற்ப அவரை பற்றி ஞானம் வளரும். பக்தியில் ஆளமாய் செல்ல முயலுகையில் அவரை பற்றிய ஞானமும் தானாகவே வளரும். மாறாக அவரை பற்றிய ஞானத்தை தேடி சென்றால் பக்தி தானாகவே வளருமா என்பது சந்தேகம்! பக்தி அற்ற ஞானம் ஆபத்தானது!

ஏனவே அவரை பற்றி ஞானம் வேண்டுமானால் அடியேன் செய்ய வேண்டியது, பக்தியில் ஆழமாவது மட்டுமே.

இது அடியேனின் நிலைப்பாடு. மாற்று கருத்துகளும் valid ஆக இருக்கலாம்.

A translation of “Dasanudasan” Swamy.
When Adiyen learnt SandhyAvandhanam from Krishna Kumar (Veda Vith) VAthiyAr in SriRangam , a student (vAthiyAr) Sampath Kumaran taught Adiyen.

When Adiyen said “Adiyen”
He will say “Adiyenukku Adiyen”
Something like “Dasanukku Dasan”

If it is wrong Adiyen will change it

No swamy. Honestly I don’t know enough to say it is wrong or not. It just appeared to me that ‘adiyen’ is a first person (தன்னிலை) adjective. அடியார்க்கு indicates முன்னிலை and படர்கை (second person and third person).

if you have heard from someone as you have mentioned, probably it is correct.

Viram swamy,

Perumal is the only Purusha; we are His stree is a philosopical truth.

He is the only original and completely independent person, therefore Purusha. We all are His expansions and are dependent on Him, therefore stree.

But that does not mean that the everyone has only female roles in our kainkaryam in Vaikuntha. There are male roles also. And there are other very important roles also. What gender is the grass that does the kainkaryam of making the surface soft for Perumal to walk? What gender is the bacteria that is engaged in the kainaryam of  converting milk to curd for Perumal? They are also Vaikunthavasis, right?

எனவே அடியேன் ஆண் அல்லன், பெண் அல்லன் அலியும் அல்லன். எந்த கைங்கர்யம் கொடுக்கப்படுகிறதோ அதற்கு தகுந்த அடையாளம் ஏந்தி அந்த கைங்கர்யம் மூலம் அவருக்கு உவப்பு ஏற்படுத்துவதே ஆசை.
