Extend life or shorten or leave it as it is?

Keeping Perumal Preethi as one purpose, By adhering to Ekadashi vrathams (fasting) our body is detoxified which extends life eventually.

* While we find Azhwars and AchAryAs requesting for shorter life to reach Perumal sooner.
*While Thirumalai Nambi Swamy (if adiyen remember correctly) says if this body snake wins kainkaryam is at Tirumala if real.snake wins Kainkaryam at Srivaikuntam. (Leave life as it is)
*Adiyen cannot find example of extending life request to Perumal

While waking up we should think, this body snake still alive?

So what’s the purpose? To be alive or not? To be alive itself a great favour by Perumal as we are getting opportunity to do karma?

Please clarify Swamy, why should be in vrathams etc while we are not interested in this life anymore?

*extending life request may be Dheerga Ayu: as per Veda chamakam but technically not sure who will request long life to be away from Srivaikunta Perumal except Anjaneya Swamy!!! 🙂
*Dhruvan is having long life how much enjoyment don’t know after self Surrender what material life can offer?
*Maharishi markendayan having long life but for those mahans it won’t make a difference

Are we not with Perumal now? Actually we are with Perumal now not seperated but being in this samsaram we can’t get long term Anandam as this life is short lived when compared to eternal life

What if one don’t get opportunity to Sath Sangam? If one is drowned into material events, won’t life will be suffering?
