Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha,
Mind Cleansing process is what Acharyas have prescribed and cannot be emptied.
Analogy: “Mind in a Human body” is like “Water in a Glass“
Consider a glass of water kept for long period. It gets contaminated due to water being stagnant and exposed to dust, bacteria etc….why because that’s the nature of material world as created by teh Supreme Creator.
Same thing with Mind. No Spiritual activities & no chanting about Supreme Almighty GOD name is like keep the glass of water stagnant for long period. Eventually water gets contaminated, Mind gets corrupted.
So how do we clean the glass with contaminated water. Can we pour the glass to basin, yes we can in case of glass of water, but for corrupted mind, we don’t have the ability to empty the mind to fill good things.
So what do we do?,
With Achraya Krupai, ask HIM to KEEP pouring Clean/Purified water into your glass continuously, because HE has plenty of Crystal clear water (pure Spiritual Mind). Once clean water keeps filling the contaminated glass, at some point the glass is filled with pure water. This is clear mind: Good thoughts, Good relationships, Spiritually elevated, Service, etc….
What does that mean?, never give a break from Spiritual activities, Aradhana, Chanting the Holy Divine names of BhagavAn, Alwar’s, Acharyas. If we do, then the dust will fill on top of pure water in the glass beacuse that is teh nature of Samsaram. So pour again the Pure water onto the glass. Repeat this process. Can I give a Break since I’m tried pouring. Yes, we can if we were doing it for the purpose of SwaPrayojanam to get some relief from this Material clutches, then we get into frustration that I’m not getting any relief. But, If we do this purification for the Joy of doing it, then we don’t feel that tiredness, its more enjoyable….
But I don’t think anyone here, are in the pursuit of taking a break……
Let’s keep pouring Pure water, as it is the only option to cleanse mind, since emptying is not possible in this Samsaram.
Adiyen ElayAlwar Srinivasa DhoddayaAcharyAr Dasan.
