According to astrological calculations, one complete cycle is 120 years.
Each of the nine grahas take shifts to control our life; the shift duration is a fixed time period for each graha, but different for different grahas. When the shift period of all the nine grahas are added, it adds up to 120.
People can live longer than that also, >1 cycle of 120.
