In the northern part of India, yesterday (July 28th) was observed as Kamika Ekadashi Vratam happening during Shravana maasam in the chandramana calendar. This is observed by all pious sanatana dharmis there.

I always have this curiosity to see parallels in practices, if it exists.

Although all ekadashis are important for us, do we view yesterday’s ekadashi as something very special (similar to kaisika/vaikuntha ekadashi)?
