Please don’t see all through the same lens. Adiyen achariyan never takes sambhavanai. Be it pitru karma or shubham, my acharyan Embar swamin accepts whatever given into a fund maintained for annadanam. My acharyan never touched that money for own use.

Here discussion is not about Acharyan. Acharyan will not touch money because Shastram says not to touch money. My dad used to say. Here reference is SanyAsa Achaaryan.

Adiyen talking about many people who sees Veda as a tool for making money. Yes while it can earn money it should not be pradhAnam for a Brahmin.

My classmate PhD who sees Joaiyam will not take single penny. He is Vadakalai. That is his principle.

Point here is Money should not be deciding factor for Vedic Brahmin.

True sometimes it happens . Pain of today’s situation money matters or else go to temple Sarva Krishna Arpanam. ! Or else you invite in a group saying that Xyz situation is this this Periyava needs to show the mercy and do Parayanam some may consider swamy !
