Kindly clarify why certain avatara jayanti’s are not celebrated with fervour even within the sampradayam?
Though we may classify certain avataras are aavesha, anshavataram, etc., shouldn’t the very fact that Sriman Narayana is associated with them make us celebrate them?
Have we lost the tradition of celebrating certain avatarams due to changing times or was it never part of our tradition?
Yet another interesting fact is that all of us are able to see them in our vaidika calendars mentioned as jayanti. Have those been mentioned only to be observed in temples or for us too?
