There are Sirpangals in ancient Sanatana Dharma temples reflecting heterogenous relationships.
Temples are holy places is what we teach our young kids, but when they happen to see such paintings or carvings in temples, this is the biggest disgrace to Sanatana Dharmam.
When a foreigner visits to see India’s marvellous architecture or learn about Sanatana Dharmam (Hinduism), one of the thing which makes them step back is, when they see such carvings in Temples in a holy place.
When asked about it, the learned people explanation is, ” these are anciently built temples, and in those ancient days, men and women led a Pious faithful life. So when a young couple gets married, they don’t know what is a married life and Kula-Vrithi. Hence, when they visit Temples, they learn about husband-wife relationship explicitly by looking at carvings, instead of someone telling these things to them, as they feel shy about it when their parents talk about it to them”.
Can these explanations be applied in present Kali yugam. Adiyen believe, such temple carvings, pictures should be taken out or destroyed as these are now a black mark for Hinduism, since Atheists easily make fun of us, and no explanations will satisfy them, since we ourselves don’t have any interest to explain it.
Adiyen don’t say about Sathvik tempkes. But in most Sanatana Dharmam temples, these are seen.
