Advaitis claim Nirguna (formless) Brahmam. This concept is beautifully dismantled in SriBhashya by Bhagavad Ramanuja who establishes Saguna Brahmam with Divya Mangala Vigraham beyond any doubt. Unless Brahmam chooses to reveal Himself no one can comprehend Him. Even Arjuna saw the cosmic form with special vision granted to him by Krishna. But Krishna appeared to every one in human form though His body was aprakruta. This was His own Sankalpa to be visible in a particular form to humans including cows and other animals when He took the Avtar! So is Rama Avatar. Their human forms were imprinted only in the minds of their contemporaries and lost forever subsequently without any means of preservation of physical identity. In Kali yuga Archa moorthies of different forms are available as conceived by the stapathis in their minds while shaping the idols!
When a Bhakti yogi transcends from Para Bhakti to Paragyana he is able to get a Darsana SamAna Akara of Brhamam during his yoga Dasa. When his Bhakti transcends from Para Gyana to Parama Bhakti he is able to comprehend Bhagavad Sakshatkara and once he reaches this state he does not continue to live to describe his experience. He attains moksha. Similarly a prapanna gets this Bhagavad Sakshatkara at the time of his death only as Sriman Narayana Himself reveals to him. Bhakti yoga can be commenced only after one achieves Atma Sakshatkara (Self realization). For an Advaiti there is no real soul existing that seeks Moksha as according to his philosophy Jivatma is only the result of the hallucinating Brahmam. So, how can they pretend comprehending Brahmam with or without form when they themselves don’t exist according to to their own philosophy?
