Swamy, my friend did pancha samskaram at the age of 8 under the guidance of his grand parents. Later, he and his parents forgot it due to staying in other states.And again he got pancha samskaram from another acharya last month. Later he found that, he already got samashranayam.
He is worrying that his Sharanagati will nullify. What to do ? How can I convince him ?? Is it really wrong and unacceptable ??

One time a Sishya of Swamy MudhaliyANdAn had gone and served EmbAr. At that time EmbAr-swamy had assumed that this sishya has not had pancha samskAram and performed the same to him. Later when EmbAr got to know that this person was already a sishya of Swamy MudhaliyANdAn, he expressed his regret and apology to Swamy. Swamy MudhaliANdAn replied, “if a person is drowning, is it not better for two people to pull him to safety than one person trying to do so?” Such was the magnanimity of Swamy MudhaliANdAn.

tasya daasarathe paadau sirasaa dharayaamyaham.
