Also I don’t think Krishna would have had any effect due to poison because his Bhakthan Prahladhan didin’t have nor Bheema.

I think Krishna started protecting Pancha Pandavas even before latter came to know of Sri Krishna

The moment someone follows Dharma Krishna is on their side.

For the title question, the reason why SriKrishna Poothanavai Kai Vida villaiye is because of Poothanaa’s past birth karmic action during one of SriKrishna past Avatars, So HE gave Mokshma to her by killing her as she wished in her past birth. So this scenario is unique to her only and not applicable to us who is in the path of Acharya ThiruvAdi Kataksham for Nithya Kainkaryam in SriVaikuntam (Moksham).

Velukkudi Swami in one of the recent Enpani has said about Multiple choice question. So, adiyen will give some multiple-choice questions to devotees to answer by giving hint as below. According to VishistAdvaitam principles, “momentary truth” persists.

We cannot calculate past births while Krishna can. We should take Karma only at that point in time.

Of course, there would have been wishes for all of us in our past births that’s how we are Ramanuja Thiruvadi Sambandhis as of now!

Even today my chithi told “Gopika were this & that in past birth”
Adiyen told “Bhakthi of that current existence matters”

Ida Kai vala Kai theriyA gopikAs were greater gyAnis than Vasishtar or Uddhavar because of their submissive nature and PeriyAzhwar’s quality of “Pallandu” to Perumal.

While Vasishtar & Uddhavar being shAstragyan , afraid of hell & self-centric.

GopikAs the real nyAnis were:
“ParOpakArArtham idam shareeram”

Here Udayavar also same, “even if I go to hell it’s okay others should reach Vaikuntam”

Same “Gopikas even if we go to hell it’s okay, Krishna should come out of body ailments, take our leg mud”

Ok, Adiyen will give one tip then two clues. Try to figure out answer. Still couldn’t find out, then third time, adiyen will share answer. It’s a very interesting story that adiyen has heard about Poothana in Swami’s upanyasams. So it’s an opportunity to share due to the relevance in this thread.

Tip:

Based on Q2, Krista and Tretha yuga, let’s eliminate any characters involved in Dwapara and Kali yuga or who is not related to a particular yuga
So Q1 choice:
1) Duryodhana eliminate due to dwapara,
2) Saraswati eliminate due to devata and didn’t belong to these two yuga, since she is wife of Brahma who created all yugas, and they see many chatur yugas.
5) Indrani consort of Indra, eliminate, same as Saraswati, not pertained to a particular Yuga since they are present in all yugas in Swargha.

Now in Q1, only these choices are left out

So Krishna the erstwhile Narasimha was keeping up promise to Mahabali for generations of Moksham? So was Pootana?

Perumal is peculiar. Why would Mahabali’s downward generation be against Perumal? Why that bhakthi not transferred?

I think knowledge transfer/transition was not taken properly.

Why is it difficult to make someone bhaktha?

Awesome Vikram BhagavAta, you are correct. Aidyen heard this story in HH Sri-Krishan Desika Jeeyar Swamy’s upanyasam long time ago, that Ratnavalli is wife of Mahabhali and took next birth as Pootana. However, Adiyen do agree that in web, its said as Rathnamala daughter of Mahabali. May be adiyen heard it wrong from Jeeyar Swami’s upanyasam. Either way, the purpose of asking the question in this thread is to understand why Ratnavalli or Rathnamala took Pootana birth.

Answer:

Pootana was princess Ratnamala in her previous birth when Shri Vishnu appeared as a Vamana.

She instantly lost her heart to the little boy and wanted to embrace him as her son. Vamana looked so adorable that, she felt like showering him with motherly love. Therefore, she wanted to breastfeed him.
However, when Vamana punished King Mahabali by sending him to Patala, Ratnamala got furious with him. Thus, her emotions for Vamana changed, and she got angry and felt like killing HIM by making him consume poison.

SriKrishna being Antharyami inside her knew her mind (desires) and allowed her to fulfill both of her desires – to suckle him and to attempt take HIS life.

Hence, in her next birth, when Ratnamala was born as Pootana, she could fulfill both her wishes. She could breastfeed the baby and also make him consume venom.

Nonetheless, after attaining Moksha, Putana secured a place for herself in Vishnu’s abode because he addressed her as his mother.
