When we are in Dr.Jerkyl mode we see others’ words as sand paper that removes negative qualities from us. When we are in Mr.Hyde mode we perceive others to be harboring poraamai.

So, it is best to continue to hear from the pure persons like our swamy, and situate in Dr.Jerkyl mode. 

One thing that makes us switch to Mr.Hyde mode is when we commit Vaishnava aparadh, especially towards elevated persons. It is unlikely that they made a mistake; but we may interpret their action to be a mistake and use harsh emotional expressions towards them. If we avoid this, if we keep faith that all vaishnavas are genuinely trying to help each other, and if we use even their ‘sand paper’ like words to our advantage, then life here will be as blissful as life There.
