Happy ekadashi.

Do we disregard the present day observations on our culture/tradition? It’s obvious that one cannot know everything even for the most learned.

The scholars those days were equally respected including the greats like Swami Desikan or Sri Manavaala maamunigal or Kamban or Kalidasa irrespective of caste or creed.

Everyone based their observations on existing traditional grounds that included some creativity.

If we had discarded those creations like Mani pravalam we wouldn’t have got any new findings.

Are we doing justice by saying whatever we create today is unauthentic?
