Swami,
I want to start reading Nalayira divya prabandham in tamil with meaning.. I need a book with explanations to start with.. Please suggest me the book with author name with detailed explanations to read.

Here is the Tamil PDF for 4000 Divya Prabhandhams. Please refer the below Vedics.org website, as the Tamil words are clearly splitted out. It is easy to read compared to the books in stores which has many words combined together. Please get a Sandhai CD from stores on how to Pronounce.

Before learning any spiritual books or for any auspicious things that we are about to start or already started, always say the below GuruParamparai slokam. This is to show our Gratitude towards Alwars and Acharyas and Sathvik Guru’s like Sri Velukkudi Krishnan Swami, since without them, we wouldn’t have known what Shastras/Vedas says us to do; wouldn’t have known BhagavAt Vishayam and wouldn’t have got Thayar-Perumal Anugraham.

Swami says the GuruParamparai Slokam in one of the Upanyasam:

“Asmadh Gurur Samaarambham,

YathiShekara Madhyamaam,

Lakshmi Vallabha Paryanthaam,

Vandhaey Guru Paramparaam”.

Sarvae Janaha Sukhino BhavAnthu,

Loka Samastha Sukhino BhavAnthu,

Sri Velukkudi Krishnan Swami Yellarudaya Manadhayum Aandananaey,

Uyya Oraey Vazhi UdayavAr ThiruvAdi,

Sarvam SriKrishna Kudumbham,

Sarvam SriKrishnarpanam Asthu.
