From my childhood I have always visited perumal temples and my favorite god is Krishna and Vishnu mahalakshmi. I say Vishnu sahasranama daily. But sometimes when I go to Durga temple or shiva temple, I do not get the same satisfaction as I get in Vishnu temples. I know that I am not supposed to think like this. But I cannot help it. My heart is more attracted to Vishnu and Krishna. I am not able to put my full effort to other gods.
Whenever it’s Vishnu mahalaksmi I get very exited and get involved so much. For other gods I am not much interested. Is this feeling okay? Please enlighten my knowledge.

Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha,

It seems like the answer is embedded in the question itself as you stated “…

“………….my favorite god is Krishna and Vishnu mahalakshmi……………… But sometimes when I go to Durga temple or shiva temple, I do not get the same satisfaction as I get in Vishnu temples………”.

There are five levels in one’s belief in general…
1) Adhama para nishtai: ignorant level, no faith and atheism, then next level
2) Aadhya para nishtai: belief in GOD, it is a cluster of belief in all demi God’s (devathas) as well as belief in Supreme Almighty GOD, then next level
3) Pradhama parva nishtai: Belief only on Supreme Almighty GOD SriKrishna and HIS Mahishi SriRukmini (a.k.a NarayanA and Mahalakshmi), then next level
4) Madhyama parva nishtai: belief in all those Acharyas of all faiths who follow SriKrishna and HIS favorites including and excluding Mahalakshmi,
5) Charama parva nishtai: Following the Acharya GodhaGraja who will permanently relieve us from this material world with HIS Nirhedukai Krupa and give us SriVsikunta prapatti for Kainkaryam.

My guess based on your posts, seems like you are swinging between level 2 and 3, more precisely, may be 2.75 level based on your statement, since you like SriKrishna and Mahalakshi a lot and feel less enthusiastic at level 2.

For those in such level closer to 3, the level 2 demi-gods will orchestrate certain incidents that will will keep them away from getting to level2. The reason is level2 demi-gods are servants of level3 Supreme Sri Krishna, which makes it now evident that the ‘losing kungumam’ incident is orchestrated by level2 Durga to get to you.

My guess is basing off on other true incidents that devotees have come across. One example, a couple who like more of level3 used to go to level2 as well due to uncertainty. Like one day theyveent to Ayyappa Pooja, it terribly rained during their drive to temple. They struggled and reached temple. Their they saw one of their family nuisance relative, so they skipped the Poona and returned home. After that they stopped going. Later, in 3-4 months they got Acharya ThiruvAdi level 5.

Typo error. It’s “parva” in 1) & 2) not para…

on August 3, 2024

Few more typo errors,
It’s ‘SriVaikunta praapthi’ not SriVsikunta prapatti,
It’s “they went,’ not theyveent,
It’s ‘Pooja’, not Poona.

Thank you so much swami for detailed explanation, my thoughts are more clear now. My confusion is gone regarding this. I will continue my Bhakti journey. I am hoping to reach level 5 soon 🙏🙏

It’s easy to reach level 5 with Godhagraja’s Causeless Mercy, we don’t need to do tremendous efforts, just pray everyday “Sri GodhaGrajayai Namaha” with gratitude….eventually it will happen, like most of the other devotees who got in to level 5…🙏

Srimathe Rangaramanuja Mahadesikaya Namaha

Adiyen could not post from PC so posting from Phone that reply button not working.

Hanuman did not have same level of attraction towards Krishna as he had on SriRam.

Let’s not develop hatred towards any God as all are forms of Vishnu

Vishnu himself has so many forms so that we get attracted to one.

Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha,

Gyanam is not means to moksham, but the Anokoola Gyanam that I’m Jeeevathma servant of ParamAthma only droves to do sharanagathy. Who gave us that anukoola gyamam to us? It’s “Swami RamanujAr” from Swami’s upanyasams. And Swami has said there are 18 different ways to get Swami RamabujAr Sambhandham.

Anyway in level 5, there are different sub categories from Swami’s upanyasam as below.

Prapannas after Prapatti are classified in to three categories.

“Prapatti pannum adhikaarikal moovar”.

1) Agyar (Agyanikal) –> Bhakthiyin Iyalaamayaal Mukthi (Namma – We all 😊).

When we say with true panivu (humbleness) to BhagavAn that “Yennaal Bhakthi PANNA MUDIYADHU (I CANNOT do Bhakthi), yeanna yenakku Bhakthi yeppadi pannanumnu THERIYADHU, adhanaalaey thaan bhakthi panna mudiyadhunnu sonnaen“. BhagavAn always likes Panivu/ThannAdakkam (humbleness/humility) and in-addition for the joy of doing Bhakthi, when we utter few words like karmas, no paavam and no punyam gives Moksham, eventhough we don’t know the full details of it, BhagavAn thinks “Paravaillayaey, ivan Agyaniya irundhaalum ivan ivalavu vaarthaikal therinju vatchu irukiranaey appadeennu nenaichu Aanandha pattu, HE stamps the word Bhakthi on us and Moksham yenkira samrajyathayaey kodukkiraan namakku”. Edhu namma nilai.

2) Gyana Vishesha Yukthar –> Bhatkhiyin Aadhikatthaal Mukthi (Acharyars).

Swami Ramanuja Acharyar who has full Gyanam (Knowlegde), Capacity & Ability about Bhakthi and Shranagathy, still says with Panivu and ThannAdakkam to BhagavAn that “naan Bhakthi PANNA MAATAEN (I WILLNOT do Bhakthi)“, since it is the duty of BhagavAn to take me to Moksham “Yennai kaapathuvadhu Kai Piditha Kanavarin Kadamai, appadi irukka, naan yean muyarchi seyya vendum”. At the same time, he continued to do the Acharam/Anushtanam/Kainkaryam for the joy of doing the dharmam, since BhagavAn has said to do it in shastras. Edhu Acharyar’kalin nilai.

3) Gyanaathikar –> Bhakthiyin PaaraVashyathaal Mukthi (Alwars).

BhagavAn’ai ninaithalaaey “oru paravasam, oru pada padappu, eppadi irukkira nilayil naan mayangi mayakkam pottu vidukiraen, appuram Bhakthi YEPPADI PANNUVAEN (I COULD’NT do Bhakthi). So, Bhakthi ParaVasathaal Mukthi Alwar’galukku. Edhu Alwar’galin nilai.

So, Rishis says with Ahambhavam that naan Bhakthi Pannuvaen, Alwars says Yeppadi Pannuvaen, Acharyas says Yean Pannanum with panivu and we say Panna Theriyaadu with panivu.

Analogy:

Like, all passengers (prapannas) in an International double deck airline (Sharanagathi plane) has same destination (Moksham), still the Seating (State of Bhakthi) in the plane differs:

1) 2nd deck First Class Suites (Alwars Bhakthi nilai),

2) 2nd deck Business Class Suite (Swami Ramanujar Bhakthi nilai; UDDHARAKA Acharyar),

3) 1st deck First Class seats (All Acharyars except Swami Ramanujar; UPAKARAKA Acharyars),

4) 1st deck Business Class seats (Pandithargal/Vedhathikal Bhakthi nilai).

5) 1st deck economy class (Namma nilai).

But all go same destination SriVaikuntam for Nithya Kainjaryam 🙏 with GodhaGrajas Krupai.

Adiyen (ElayaAlwar) Srinivasa (DhoddayacharyAr) Dasan.
