Regarding visiting temples?

Namaskaram,
If someone’s father or mother dies, can they visit temple after the 13th day(griha yagnyam) finishes? Because adiyen heard mixed opinion. Some say one should not visit temple for 1 year. Some say, can visit temple but no archanai should be done. Which is right?
