what does the veda recommend as significance of children performing their parent’s 80th birthday? kindly enlighten swami
Shashtiabda purthi or sathabhishekam are not rituals mentioned in the Vedas or smritis. They are celebrated as a custom. They are to be used as occasions to hold Veda and Divya Prabandha Parayanam and honour the deserving adhyapakas.
