Perumal and Thayar are divine couples. They are considered divine father and divine mother to everyone of us.
Saranagati is said to be atma vivaham i.e., wedding of Jivatma to Paramatma.
adiyen feel, when one is taking pancha samskaram (saranagati), perumal being divine father, the term atma ‘vivaham’ for saranagati does not appear to be suitable.
adiyen understand Nanjiyar had written on ‘atma vivaham’. Hence, adiyen is not eligible to comment in any way.
This thought has arisen in me and hence seeking clarification.
