Namaskaram,
Can someone kindly explain what is satrumurai?
Sri Ramanuja Munaye Namaha,
Sri Velukkudi Krishnan Swami Guruve Namaha,
Asmadh Sarva Gurubhyo Namaha,
Dear Bhakta,
Satrumurai is the Concluding part of the ThiruAaradhanai to Perumal-Thayar.
Sri Velukkudi Krishnan Swami has said about Simple steps doing ThirAradhanai or Poojai to Perumal-Thayar. This to be done by Male members of family right after taking bath and applying Holy Thilaks Thriuman Kaapu/SricHooranam in 12 places. Female members can de Sandhanam araitthal, Pushpam Samarpitthal, Thaligai Seithal (Prepare food for Perumal-Thayar) etc…
If Bhakta had Acharya Samasrayanam, then Acharya will teach Bhakta about ThriAaradhanai steps, as it is one of the 5 steps in Pancha Samskaram.
<Thapaha, Pundraha, Naamaha, Mantaraha, Yagjna (yaga)>,
The last one Yaga is the ThiruAaradhanai which includes as below. Before starting ThiruAaradhanai, we should say “Acharyan ThiruvAdi Bhalatthaal”, so that Perumal accepts our humble Poojai.
Swami says, Upacharam (Parivu/affection) to Perumal is Aaradhanai.
Also, for Perumal’s Kainakaryartham/Preethiyartham, Swami says to follow daily,
After ThiruAaradhani, Swami says, we should have Anbhu to ALL JeevaRaasis, with a Thudippu to do ThruAaradhani to PErumal next day,….etc…..
Swami says, ThiruAaradhani takes hardly 20 minutes daily.
Swami says, Perumal has given this Body, so utilize the Manam (Mind), Mozhi (Speech), Mei (Actions) to Perumal first thing in morning and then involve in daily activities, since WE ALL (the JeevAthama’s) are Perumal’s Sotthu (Property).
Please check with Kinchit, if Bhakta could get Swami’s Upanyasam on ThiruAaradhanai.
Sri Velukkudi Krishnan Swami Thiruvadigalaey Sharanam,
Uyya Oraey Vazhi UdayavAr ThiruvAdi,
Sarve Janaha Sukhino BHavanthu,
Sarvam SriKrishna Kudumbham.
Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha,
Also “SaatruMurai” means “உறக்க சொல்லப்படுவது”. So one should say/chant the concluding part of ThiruAradanam loudly whether in Temples or Home without just murmuring, since it is a combination of all auspicious slokas of Alwars/Acharyas Vaazhi Thirunaamams, and these vibrations persist for long in Temples or Home. Its a Rakshai.
Adiyen (ElayaAlwar) Srinivasa (DhoddayacharyAr) Dasan.
