<SHORT ANSWER>

Having Krishna or Rama or any Poorna Avatars of Narayanan without Piratti (Thayar) at Home is nothing but “SOORPANAKA Thisai” (Stage-3 in JeevAthmas life period), very dangerous situation. This should be avoided and Baktha’s should be in Stage-4 which is ideal situation.

Swami has Said there are 4 stages, a JeevAthma PROGRESSESS STEP-BY-STEP during its life period, either it progressess all the 4 stages in same Janma and attains Moksham after 4th stage, Or JeevAthma experiences one stage in many janmas and gradually improves in many Janmas and attains the final 4th stage and then Moksham.

<STAGE-1> known as “KUMBHAKARNA THISAI”

Thisai means ‘following a path’ or ‘a way’ or ‘chosing a direction of what to follow’.

Kumbakarna is Ravanan brother who is always in SLEEP all the time. The ‘In-depth’ meaning of this type of Thisai is “JeevAthma immersed in Agyanam (Ignorance), full SLEEP”,

* doesn’t know what is the purpose of life, (live for ourselves or live for BhagavAn-Thayar happiness).

* doesn’t know who is BhagavAn-Thayar (either Sriman Narayanan or some one else).

<STAGE-2> known as “RAVANA THISAI”

After crossing Stage-1 Kumbhakarna Thisai (awakened from such deep sleep/ignorance), now the JeevAthma starts looking “what to do with its life.

* Ravanan is a Brahmin who has learned Shastars/Vedas but ignored Sriman Narayanan.

* JeevAthma considering Demi-gods Brahma, Shiva as Kadavul, and ignoring the One-and-Only ParamAthma Sriman Narayanan (Sri Rama) deliberately.

* Then, having desire on Piratti (Sita) excluding SriRama.

* SriRama gave last minute chance to do Sharanagathy in the battlefiled, but Ravana didnot listen.

Result is Maandaey Ponaan (DEATH) without getting Thayar Blessing and without doing Sharanam on SriRamas’ LOTUS FEET.

<STAGE-3> known as “SOORPANAKA THISAI”

After crossing Stage-2 Ravana Thisai, now the JeevAthma understands Sriman Narayanan is the ONE-and-ONLY ParamAthma as per Shastras/Vedas.

* Soorpanaka (Ravana’s sister) went to SriRama and proposed her desire to marry, but IGNORED Sita Piratti and TRIED to HARM Sita Piratti.

Result is “Mookkai arutthu vittar Lakshmanan (Lakshmana cut Soorpanaka nose).

<STAGE-4> known as “VIBHISHANA ALWAN THISAI”

After crossing Stage-3 Soorpanaka Thisai, now the JeevAthma with Thayar Purushakarathvam does Sharanagathy on Sriman Narayanan (ParamAthma as per Shastras/Vedas) Lotus Feet with Acharyan Krupai.

* Vibhishana Alwan got ‘Sita Piratti’ blessings first.

* Then left Ravana (Dushta Savakasam Praana Sankatam)

* Then crossed ocean to do Sharanagathy on Sri Ramas lotus feet.

* At that time, all Vanaraas (monkeys) and the leader Sugrivan opposed Vibhishana sharanagathy, thinking it is a game plan by Ravana to attack SriRama.

* But Hanuman is the ‘Acharya’ who gave ‘good report card” about Vibhishana to SriRama that, when Hanuman was caught in Lanka by soldiers of Ravana, then Vibhishana was the only pious Athma who advised Ravana that don’t do any harm to Rama Dhootha (messenger).

* After Sharanagathy, Lead a life with Gratitude towards Thayar-Perumal-Acharyan by doing Kainkaryams till the Shareeram falls down.

Result is, due to Thayar (Sita) Kataksham through a Acharyan (Hanuman) Recommendation, Sri Rama THE SUPREME accepted Vibhishana Sharangathy, which is the ULTIMATE sharanagathy CONCEPT and the PURPOSE of Life.
