Swamy Desikan in Paduka Sahasram upanyasam of Sri Paravakottai Andavan Swamy has said

“Sri VaishnavargalOdu eppadi VAdham Seivadhu?”

Pira madhangal endrAl paravA illai.

Meaning:
How can we conflict within our own sect/philosophy/BhAgavathA?

Point to note it’s the BhAgavathA that matters not the philosophy / sect in my opinion.

Swamy Desikan was determined not to hurt the sentiments or feelings of a BhAhavathA?

Swamy Desikan, lived the live of Sri Ramanuja’s prescription. Meaning “BhAgavatha apachAram” will be a hindrance to “Moksham”.

Swamy lived the life of actual preachings not just by words

Nowadays clever speakers are appreciated not the people who live by it. People fail to judge the orator and the life of orator.

Technically one should see if the preachings are in line with life living.

Else one should discard those preachings because it will create a doubt in the listener.

The moment doubt comes in “MahA VishwAsam” is gone.

“Ramanuja’s father was Keshava Somayaji Deekshithar”

Technically his holiness Sri Ramanujar himself an Iyer in today’s standards?

Please explain Swamy. Devareer seem to be very knowledgeable in Guru Paramparai.

ChatGPT further says:
Ramanujacharya, the 11th-century Hindu theologian and philosopher, was not an Iyer. He was born into a Tamil Brahmin family belonging to the Srivaishnava tradition, which venerates the god Vishnu and follows the teachings of the Alvars. Specifically, Ramanujacharya was part of the Vadakalai sect of Srivaishnavism. The Iyer community, on the other hand, is associated with the Smarta tradition, which follows Adi Shankaracharya and generally worships the five deities of the Smarta tradition.
