Nivethitha Bhaktai’s reference and devareer’s reference both are correct from Swami’s Upanyasams, but the dots needs to be connected.
A JeevAthma always has Jeeva Swathantriyam whether in Samsaram as BhaddAthma or as MuktAthma after reaching SriVaikuntam.
But in Samsaram made of “Mishra Satvam (mixture of Satva, Rajas, Tamas), we either tend to do good or bad using our Jeeva Swathantriyam.
But in SriVaikuntam, our Rajo-Tamas-karmas are Totally eradicated forever to Zero in Viraja Nadhi and we will be left with only Satva Guna and get “Sudha Satvam body” (no Mishra Satvam & no karma’s beyond virajai Nadhi), so using our same Jeeva Swathantriyam, we only do Kainkaryam (since no bad exists beyond virajai Nadhi) to BhagavAn by taking any Sudha Satvam body forms. Like if devareer wish, devereer can become a Lotus and serve BhagavAn, or a change again to Swan and become as a vehicle to Bhagavan and so on……..
So conclusion,
* In present Leela Vibhoothi (Samsaram), we get a Body due to “Our Karmas நம் கர்மத்தினாலே”, either to relinguish karma’s (paapa or punya) or utilize to do sharanagathy for Moksham using the Jeeva Swathantriyam due to Mishra Satvam.
* But in Nithya Vibhoothi (SriVaikuntam), we take any body (not get a body) due to “Our wish நம் இச்சயினாலே” to do Kainkaryam only using our Jeeva Swathantriyam due to existence of Sudha Satvam only.
