Death is for whom ?
For the mind body
What happens after mind and body dies?
All sensations perceptions and memories related to mind vanishes namely relationships , material properties, achievements , emotions etc
What remains after death of body and mind?
Jeevatma with imprints or samskaras with karma
So jeevatma after death of body and mind will be made to take up another body mind and appropriate world according to karma
All janmas cannot be known until told by Paramatma because memories will be lost
Do the dead know that they are dead?
We can use deep sleep as example
In deep sleep body and mind dies temporarily only Paramatma Jeevatma exist
No jeevatma can know that one is in deep sleep while in the Deep sleep ( with the exception of Gnana Yogis) . only when the mind body re emerges Jeevatma remembers the Deep sleep through mind and resultant sadness that I am awake and so loss of peace while in deep sleep
So dead can know that they had died only after birth – when one is born one knows that one has died and the resultant sadness due to loss of the peace while in death
So we can tell unmanifested Jeevatma as dead
And manifested Jeevatma is living
So for a Jeevatma there is no birth or death – Jeevatma is eternal
Peruman only knows everything whether the same Jeevatma ( our father mother other relationship) has manifested once again in the same family as human or animal
adiyen remember that Swamy has told in en Pani it is rare for a Jeevatma to manifest in the same family
