Let’s say person who has exceeded expectations performed lwell ast year but met expectations or did not perform resonably well due to family condition is it ethical to give a lower rating?

How to be good to all team members? Is it even possible?

Dear BhagavAta,

Swami’s Vidhura Neethi has plenty of examples of how a leader should be. Dridharastra was a bad example of leader, so Vidhura advises to him.

In simple words from Vidhura Neethi, this is how a leader should be:

1. Prepare Before the becoming a Leader,

3. Focus on the Big Picture,
4. Learn Leadership Skills
5. Minimize Meetings,
6. Get to Know Your Team,
7. Be a Wise Boss, Not a Friend,

13. Do Performance Reviews,

15. Lead by Example,
Etc….

Our Swami is good example of a Leader/Manager by doing Spiritual Discourses and Managing KKT and handling the team.

Adiyen will share adiyens thinking,

In general if the persons both “moral behaviour and performance” was good in normal times, then Adiyen would still rate the person high, even though he couldn’t perform due to his family situation, since he didn’t have a proper mind set to perform due to his familiy situations.

Or, if Adiyen come to know that, he is responsible for his family situation, then Adiyen will rate him low in performance and ask him to fix his family situation first, because if his family situation is not good, then he will have no supportive background to perform and he will exhibit his family frustrations to others which is not good.
