Tirumalai veda paaraayanam

Swami,

Adiyen spends leisure time watching SVBC channel most of the times and have doubt.

Do not know if this doubt is the outcome of my Rajo gunam.

Whenever I see veda goshti reciting in Tirumalai, I always notice that it is mostly done only by Smarta periyavas.

Is it like they have been given the exclusive rights for Veda paaraayanam in Tirumalai as ordained by Jagatacharyar himself ?

Kshamikka praarthikkiren !

Swami,

Adiyen’s little mind is thinking why not equal representation from different siddhanta followers (Smartas, Vaishnavas, Madhwas, etc.) — all being vaidikas and Vedic recitation is common for everyone.

However without knowing the ground reality, reasons and practicalities, it would be very childish to think that ways.

So adiyen was just inquisitive to understand the history and the ground reality.

Srimate Ramaanujaye Namaha,

Swamy i am not sure, but may be good to ascertain  if this is case in general or is it the case for the progam that you watch in SVBC. I am guessing it is the case in what is being telecast..perhaps..

Different mutts may have different opportunities/timeslots perhaps.. and the pgm you watch may be of the time that is alloted to Smarta periyavas?

Another possibility is when Sri Vaishnavas recite they might perhaps recite Divya prabhandams etc?

I just making logical guesses, we need to wait to hear from those who are familiar with Thirumala practices.

Swami,

Adiyen usually watches the Veda paaraayanam that is telecast from 9 a.m.-10 a.m., in the morning.
