Vishnu Sahasranamam/ Yudhistra and Bhisma

Namaskaram Swami,

 

In the context of Vishnu Sahasranamam. Was it addressed to Yudhistra as he was the most righteous of the pandavas?.My understanding was Yudhistra already knew that Krishna was the almighty. I think Bhisma also knew that Krishna was not a mortal human being well before the war. Please correct me if wrong.

I am not sure about your question. Yudhisthira to an extent and Bhishma to a larger extent knew about the Supremacy of Sri Krishna. That is why Bhishma sung the glory of Krishna to Yudhishthira
